| The north shore of Kauai has an abundant reef system and a diverse fish community. The most famous snorkeling and scuba destination is Tunnels Beach. Tunnels is one of the largest reefs in all of Hawaii. You will likely see green turtles and spinner dolphins just beyond the reef. Whales can be spotted along the coast during the winter months. There is also great snorkeling at Hideaways and Puu Poa beaches (both are within walking distance of Hale Maluhia). | |
